a carefully thought out bad idea

Some just-goofin'-around photos I took last night of Cry Havoc!, a local Connecticut band:

It's been a while since I've brought a camera to a show, so take that into consideration...

Here are a couple of songs from Cry Havoc's EP, which is coming out soon, or just came out, or something.

Cry Havoc!, "Cry Havoc"
Cry Havoc!, "Dead Dead Dead Dead"

The band didn't want to stop moving, for some reason.

I take photos like that and it usually has more to do with me moving instead of the subject.

Those aren't mere blurs; that's a special technique called Using the Incorrect Shutter Speed Through Creative Button Mashing.

All the famous photographers use this technique. (When they're 5 years old)

Been there, done that.

I call it, IsBLURster.

You've got the technique mastered though... Everytime I use the, ahem, wrong shutter speed, you can see all of the dust on the lens...

Hey, cool photo-- too bad it's Isbister, instead of anybody else...

If it was Fedor Fedorov, for instance, I'd be stealing it for the blog header.
